The Siegmund welding tables and accessories are available in 3 different systems: System 16, System 22 and System 28. The system is defined by the borehole sizes of the welding table.
The choice of system depends on the type and size of the workpieces as well as the specific requirements of the work. System 28 is ideal for light to heavy components, System 22 is suitable for medium-heavy structures and System 16 is especially recommended for fine details fabrications.
All tool parts and sets can be used on all table series within one system. If you want to work across systems, we also offer an extensive range of connecting elements.
Choosing the right hole system (16 mm, 22 mm, or 28 mm) depends largely on the weight of your components and the expected distortion forces. As a global market leader, Siegmund offers the right clamping system for every requirement.
System 28
The global standard for heavy steel construction and mechanical engineering. With a 100 mm grid and heavy-duty bolts, it is designed for maximum clamping forces, multi-ton structures, and high distortion forces.
System 22
The ideal middle ground in metal construction. It offers significantly greater stability than the 16 system, while remaining more manageable and cost-effective than the 28 system. Perfect for general metalwork and moderate distortion forces.
System 16
Ideal for light to medium-duty work and precision fixtures. Thanks to the close 50 mm grid, small components can be fixed with high precision. Particularly suitable for finely dimensioned welded structures with minimal distortion.
