FC Bayern Munich is the biggest brand in German professional sports and is known all over the world. Siegmund is the main sponsor of FC Bayern's basketball team. In this spectacular sport, the club is just as ambitious and hungry for titles as in football. Since 2014, they have celebrated nine national titles (league championships and cup wins).
The first years of the partnership were also successful: The Munich team won the German Basketball Cup in 2023 and won the “double” of cup victory and German championship in 2024, becoming “German Champions 2025” – each time with the Siegmund logo on their chest.
The FC Bayern basketball players also caused a sensation internationally. Three players from the team helped the German national team to their sensational victory at the 2023 World Championship, and five FCBB players were even on the roster for the celebrated victory at the 2025 European Championship.
