Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

If the customer is a consumer, they generally have a right of withdrawal when concluding a distance contract for the purchase of goods, subject to the exclusions set out below.
Distance contracts within the meaning of Section 312c of the German Civil Code (BGB) are contracts in which Siegmund, or a person acting in the name of or on behalf of Siegmund, and the consumer exclusively use means of distance communication for the contract negotiations and the conclusion of the contract, unless the contract is not concluded within the framework of an organized distance sales or service-provision system.

Withdrawal Instructions

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement, for example by a letter sent by post or by email.

Where the contract was concluded via our website or online shop, consumers may also exercise their right of withdrawal using the withdrawal function provided on our website. This function is accessible via the button labelled “Withdraw from contract” or an equivalent clear wording. After entering the information required to identify the contract and confirming the withdrawal via the online function, consumers will receive confirmation of receipt of the withdrawal without undue delay on a durable medium, in particular by email.

You may use the model withdrawal form below for this purpose, although this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification that you are exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functioning.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to Section 312g(2) No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual choice or decision by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.

Consumers may also withdraw from a contract concluded via our website or online shop using the withdrawal function provided on this website. For this purpose, only the information required to identify the contract, allocate the withdrawal and process it will be collected. Use of the withdrawal function is not mandatory; consumers may continue to exercise their right of withdrawal by any other unequivocal statement. The further processing of the withdrawal will be handled by our Service Team.
