Siegmund welding tables are available in three materials. The Professional 750 Series is made from high-quality steel S355J2+N. The Professional Extreme tables, designed for particularly demanding applications, are made from through-hardened tool steel X8.7 and X8.8, which are available exclusively from Siegmund. For stainless steel processing, Siegmund also offers welding tables made from high-quality stainless steel X5CrNi18-10 (V2A).
Further information on the materials of Siegmund welding tables can be found via the button below.
Siegmund offers its welding tables with three different hole diameters: 16 mm, 22 mm, and 28 mm. The hole size defines the systems at Siegmund. Depending on the system, the tables are equipped with either a 50 mm or 100 mm hole grid, or a diagonal grid.
Click the button below for more information about the Siegmund systems.
The load capacity of the welding tables varies depending on the system.
Load depends on the type and amount of table legs. The individual components are significantly higher. Based on our experience, we recommend the specified loads for your safety.

* Data only for leg standard equipment
Siegmund welding tables come standard with the leg standard equipment. For an additional charge, you can also equip your welding table with height-adjustable legs, legs with casters, and legs with floor anchoring.
The table legs are also finely adjustable and ensure the table remains perfectly level.
On request, we offer various special equipment options for our welding tables. To do so, add the welding table to your shopping cart, submit a request, and specify the desired special equipment in the final step. We will then provide you with a quote or contact you directly if you prefer.
The following special equipment options are available:
Further information on the hole grid and special equipment can be found via the button below.
If you do not find the right table size in our standard range, you also have the option to configure special sizes.
Siegmund offers a wide range of accessories for the welding tables. From clamps and bolts to squares, vices, and practical storage boxes, you will find everything at Siegmund.
To ensure a long service life, the table should be cleaned regularly and protected from welding spatter. Use the anti-spatter spray (Item no. 000924) before welding and the CleanBasic cleaner (Item no. 000914) after welding. To remove welding spatter and unevenness, use the Oilstone (Item no. 000940, 000942) (not suitable for plasma-nitrided tables). The holes can be easily cleaned with the brush (Item no. 160820, 220820, 280820).
We also recommend oiling the table with a non-corrosive oil such as WD40, especially if it will not be used for an extended period.
Avoid acids and other abrasives, and place the table in a dry location with a constant temperature. We recommend removing all components or accessories from your table before cleaning.

Yes, our welding tables are well protected against heat and flying sparks.
They are made of solid steel with high heat capacity, which can withstand short-term temperature exposure well. The surface is additionally plasma-nitrided, making it particularly hard, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant. This treatment increases resistance to sparks, welding spatter, and mechanical stress, and makes cleaning easier.
Heat resistance is provided, but not unlimited: as with most types of steel, continuous thermal exposure above approximately 400 °C can lead to structural changes in the material. This may result in distortion, dimensional inaccuracies, or loss of strength. Therefore, localized overheating, such as prolonged torch or plasma cutting in the same spot, should be avoided.
Most welding processes require a safe return of the welding current via the ground connection. This ground connection (also called the return conductor) is an integral part of the welding circuit and must be correctly connected to ensure a safe and effective welding process.
If the ground connection cannot be attached directly to the workpiece — for example, because the component is difficult to access or is placed in an insulated position — the welding table itself must serve as part of the circuit. In this case, the table is connected to the ground cable so that the welding current flows through it to the workpiece.
Important:
Once the welding table becomes part of the welding circuit, it must not be additionally grounded according to BGI 553 (July 2011 edition). This is due to the risk of current diversion or uncontrolled current flows that could occur due to additional grounding. These could lead to dangerous voltages or even electric shocks.
